Knowing my 8+ year old car battery was not long for this world I researched a replacement on the net last autumn and decided that I would buy from this company when the time came. Kept a note of all the details so that when it finally 'died' earlier this week (June 2011) I knew exactly what to do. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that despite the VAT rise in January the price of the battery was the same as quoted last year. Ordered on line at lunchtime and the following day it was delivered by courier at 2:00. Fitted by 2:30 I was up and running again & Mr Delighted!! This is how service should be - I'd recommend Performance Batteries to anyone.

Very reliable, I ordered after the cut off date, but still received the battery by next day delivery. Cannot comment on the battery as turns out I didnt actually need one! (Blooming break down cover people) They confirmed I could return the battery, but decided to keep anyway as my battery is old, so will need one soon. Saved myself £26.99 on same battery at Halfords. So do not worry about ordering online, fine service.
